So, it's December...

I almost melted last week…
It's still strange to me to see Christmas decorations when there are 35°C outside. Maybe this is why I miss Berlin a bit

I didn't walk much around - first because I was sick, but mostly because I was busy. I actually did animate after all - here's the proof:

and here's the result - I say not bad for one day work

Countdown from Inkamon on Vimeo.

But when I did go out a bit , I found more awesome sights:
abandoned oxigen bar- how about that?

And I bought a ticket for Patagonia! But I must say I am pretty pissed off with the argentinian government for their new tourism law amendment that prevents foreigners from buying plane tickets in pesos, or to have them bought by an argentinian friend - so I had to pay in dollars at the official exchange rate, of course… Buggers

Partying with cats

pfuuuh , this week was so blurry … It feels more like one long day. or one month, depends how you look at it.  a bit dipped in alcohol, but that's not it
On one hand not much happened - not much exploring not many new sights… On the other hand there's a storm in my head, I've been thinking about EVERYTHING (several times)... things shift places with a frightening speed and I am struggling to find balance.  I'm still unsuccessfully trying to meditate...
yes. me. meditate.
Well , since I cannot show you pictures of that , here's what my physical person has been at:

a small wrap-party for the ending of a commercial on Tuesday
 a drawing&drinking party on Wednesday

again in La Boca at the PROA museum to see the Ron Mueck exhibition  on Saturday

unfortunately this is the only picture I could take, inside was not allowed.
What i was disappointed by is that the clothing is actual fabric, I was expecting it to be also silicone. Otherwise really impressive - the oversized ones(except the chicken)  gave me a strange vertigo feeling.

…later I was to another party with cats, but it was so dark I couldn't take any pictures

And apropos cats - meet Señor Ignacius :
and Señor Peeti:

 he talks a lot.

One other thing I have to make a note of : the way the lime-trees smell here !!! Excuse me my cheap poetry, but if there's one thing I would like to take with me from BAires (up till now) is this smell

Oh, and yeah! we have a pool now :)

A pretty fucked-up week

… in which I did a lot of thinking and writing and I discovered the true goal of my quest, and that it can't be found in South America - not other physical place for that matter. But I still hope to find it, while in South America
… in which I think i made a big mistake trying to explain myself… or maybe I did the right thing, it just  feels like hell for the moment
… in which I've been presented with a new panic to get beyond of
… in which there was working around the clock in the studio, but I am not part of the project, so I started something of my own

… in which I walked around some more, got lost some more, listened to some good and some not so good music...

…and in which eventually I washed my sketchbooks with my backpack. Both of them!

Cats and angels

ok, I've done it - i went to the Recoleta Cemetery!
Not as spooky as it sounds. I kept hearing about it since I arrived and I was starting to feel like I was missing on something…, so what could have been more suited for a hot, sunny saturday than a walk in the cemetery
Which looks more like a little town of the dead:

...with broad avenues

…and small dark alleys

... elegant squares
… sumptuous mansions

 …little quirky houses

… and populous blocks of flats

 - knock - knock! (wtf?)

Some of them invite you to peak inside

 Oups!
yep , that's a menorah, allright!

Some even display a window case:

this one must have bin a fun dude:

And what would a cemetery be without some statues of angels?

Oh , you mustn't think I was alone in the place, although I did my best to make it look like that in the photos. All the chirping tourist were rushing to see Evita's grave
...which I have no idea how it looks like, but I can google it any time. I kept more to the dark alleys and also, with that outfit, I managed to give a guy one hell of a scare :)

...and there were also cats
